ABOUT US
Artistic and Executive Director, Allyson Cohen, founded CMOC with the mission to bring concert stage music to those who may not be able to attend a normal concert. We perform at hospitals, and homeless shelters to share our love of concert music with members of the community in need. Another part of our mission is to highlight under represented composers as well as the works of contemporary composers. So many composer's throughout history have been overlooked and it is not for their lack of talent. Introducing audiences to new music by new composers from all different time periods is essential to the growth of the music industry.
We at CMOC believe that concert music should be accessible to all; we inform our audiences about the music we program, and perform without the formalities of the concert hall. One of the most rewarding parts of this process is engaging with the audience. Therefore, we always welcome questions and participation of any kind. We cater our performances to the age and needs of the audience, with our only goal being to bring more joy and optimism than there was before.

Community Engagement
A unique feature of CMOC's concerts is that we present all performances as community engagement programs. We love connecting with the community on a personal level and sharing profound and diverse music with those that might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear it.
